Top Ten Tuesdays is a weekly meme hosted by TheBrokeandtheBookish. This weeks Top Ten is Top Ten Books I Can’t Believe I Haven’t/Want To Read From X Genre and for this weeks question I have chosen my top ten YA books I can’t believe I haven’t read yet.
- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak- I have been putting off reading this one because I have heard such great things about it but 2015 is the year I will finally sit down and read it.
- Holes by Louis Sachar- Holes was one of favourite films growing up and it was only a couple of years ago that I found out it was based of this book. Ever since I have been meaning to get around to it but I just haven’t got their yet.
- The Giver by Louis Lowry- another YA that I’ve been hearing great things about and meaning to get around to but I just never did.
- Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Patterson- Once again seen the movie but I have never got around to reading the book.
- On the Fence by Kasie West- Written by one of my favourite authors on the fence naturally went on my TBR list immediately but I still haven’t managed to get around to reading it.
- A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness- I have heard amazing things about Patrick Ness and I can’t wait to read some of his books
- The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan- I know, I know I have never read any of the Percy Jackson books but I’m planning to!
- Eragon by Christopher Paolini.- The Inheritance Cycle has always been on my list because..well.. Dragons.
- Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins- I know, I know, I must be one of the only people on the planet who hasn’t read this but hopefully this year is the year I will get around to it!
- I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson- I love the Sky is Everywhere, it’s one of my all time favourite books and I cannot wait to read another of Nelsons work because it looks amazing!
